Privacy Policy
Pluto Promotions LLC (“Pluto,” “we,” “us”) is a video and film production studio in California. This explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Refund & Satisfaction Policy. It’s general information, not legal advice.
What we collect
What you give us — your name, work email, phone, company, and the details and materials for your project.
Payments — handled by Helcim. Your card goes straight to Helcim; we never see or store full card numbers. We keep billing records (amount, date, what it was for).
Your project materials — the brief, brand assets, scripts, footage, and product info you send. These sometimes feature other people (anyone you choose to include) — you’re responsible for having the rights and consents to use them (see our Terms).
Website data — basic usage info like your IP address and pages viewed, through cookies and analytics.
Messages — the emails you send us.
We don’t collect biometric, genetic, or precise-location data, and we don’t build profiles on you.
How we use it
To deliver your project, bill you, support you, run and secure our business, meet tax and legal obligations, and — only where you’ve agreed — send occasional updates you can unsubscribe from anytime.
Cookies & analytics
Our site uses Google Analytics and similar analytics and advertising tools to understand how the site is used. Under California law, some of this counts as “sharing” for advertising. You can opt out anytime by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser or by emailing sales@plutopromotions.com, and you can block cookies in your browser settings. If you’re in the EEA or UK, we ask your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who help us run the business, under contract: Helcim (payments), our website host, Google (analytics), and our email provider. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a business sale. We don’t sell your personal information for money.
Your materials & the people in them
When your materials include other people, you’re responsible for the rights and consents (per our Terms). We only use that material to make your project, on your instructions. If you’re someone featured in a client’s video, contact the client who commissioned it; we’ll help them respond.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it for your project and our relationship, then for the period required by tax, accounting, and record-keeping rules (consistent with our Terms). Project files are deleted when no longer needed — or returned if you ask.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards and limit who can access your information. No system is perfectly secure, so tell us right away if you have a concern.
Your rights
California residents can ask us to know, access, delete, or correct the information we hold, opt out of any sharing, and use an authorized agent — and we won’t treat you differently for asking. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.
EEA/UK residents can access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing, and complain to your data-protection authority.
To exercise any right, email sales@plutopromotions.com. We’ll verify your identity and respond within the time the law allows (45 days in California, one month in the EEA/UK).
Children
Our work is for businesses, not children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above shows the current version. We’ll flag significant changes.
